Mr. Imran Ejotre
Social Entrepreneur
Mr. Imran Ejotre is a social entrepreneur and an academic. He is a co-founder of Ugandan and USA based 501(c) charity Nested Savings www.nestedsavings.org and doubles as the organization’s Country Director for its operations in Uganda. Imran is also a co-founder for a South Africa based green economy think tank African Centre for a Green Economy (AfriCGE) www.africancentre.org and is the Lead for natural capital and biodiversity, with a focus on East Africa. As an academic, Imran is a lecturer of Biology at Muni University Arua (Uganda) and coordinates the Regional Center of Excellence (RCE) and Education for Sustainable (ESD) programs at the university. He holds double masters degrees in zoology and infectious disease ecology from Islamic University in Uganda (Uganda) and Bucknell University (USA) respectively. He is now a PhD research fellow at the Institute of molecular parasitology at Humboldt University Berlin (Germany). Imran serves and advises on number of governing council boards including chairing the governing councils of Yumbe District NGO Forum and Vision for Humanity.

Mr. Boboya James Edimond
Support Advisor for International Media Support
Mr. Boboya James Edimond brings nearly 15 years of experience working in the international development field and considerable expertise in designing and implementing effective capacity building, civil society, youth, gender and media-focused activities. In his role as Country Director of Geneva Call, Organizational Development Manager for USAID’s SUCCESS program, Mr. Edimond developed and delivered a series of capacity-building and institutional strengthening trainings to team members and CSOs alike. Mr. Edimond has significant experience in developing relationships with and coordinating between numerous civil society organizations (CSO) and a wide array of other actors and partners, effectively engaging them, and fostering across relationships across organizations. As the Strategic Support Advisor for International Media Support, he conducted a mapping of CSOs to form networks and improve coordination between groups with similar technical objectives and agendas. These experiences translate directly into an adept ability to conduct capacity and performance assessments and develop capacity-building tools and trainings. He has emphasized the need for sustainability and institutional strengthening to promote capacity-building throughout and across projects. From his substantial regional work, Mr. Edimond has a deep understanding of the Sudan and South Sudan environments which inform contextualized design capabilities and effective program implementation. Mr. Edimond has both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in local governance and human rights as well as a master’s degree in sustainable international development. Mr. Edimond is a native English speaker and is fluent in Arabic.

Malish Obede Julius Eresto
Intercultural Conflict Management and Social Action
Malish Obede Julius Eresto is a hard-working professional with Master’s Degree in Social Sciences specifically Intercultural Conflict Management and Social Action in Global Context from Alice Salomon University of applied science Berlin Germany and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Development from the University of Juba, South Sudan. Most importantly Malish is very confident and has strong belief that with his Master’s Degree which represents a transdisciplinary and practice-oriented curriculum commingling a multi-dimensional theoretical and methodological approach to social conflict with a strong focus on participatory practical social action has capacitated him with skills for managing real-world social conflicts and peace building in transnational and intercultural contexts. Malish has over 10 years experience working for both International and local NGOs in different capacities, this has equipped him with skills of monitoring and evaluation of projects, assessments, qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, donor relations, communications, coordination, proposal development and operational functions including logistics, human resources, complex humanitarian emergencies and conflict resolution and peacebuilding strategies. Overall, Malish has consistently demonstrated planning, project management and implementation skills, reporting, accountability, team work and communication abilities in every aspect of his Deputy Program Manager role with International Medical Corps. Currently Malish works as a volunteer for Hope Reviving Platform (HRP) a national NGO in Juba South Sudan where he leads communications, coordination, development, design of proposals and organises consultative meetings, workshops and trainings on identified gaps so as to build both organizational and staff capacities.

Mr. John Kenyi Justin has Master’s Degree in Multicultural and International Education from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) in Oslo, Norway with nine years of experience in social and socio-legal research, including baseline and midline surveys, and in evaluations with International Non – Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and Institutions in South Sudan, Uganda, and Ethiopia. In Addition, Mr. Kenyi has four years of experience in the field of formal education training with an International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO), Teacher Training College/Institute (TTC/TTI), the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) in then Semi-autonomous Southern Sudan, and in Secondary Schools in Uganda. He also has Two years of experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) with International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and one year of service in community development in South Sudan. Mr. Kenyi has adequate knowledge of project/research design, implementation and management, results-oriented, the ability to organize work, plan schedules, and meet deadlines. Mr. Kenyi also possesses good interpersonal skills, and able to work well in a team. He further communicates effectively and professionally, builds consensus, provides leadership, and effectively coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in multicultural settings and willingness to learn. It is important to mention also that Mr. John is In good command of the English language, South Sudanese (Juba) Arabic, Bari language and the associated languages/dialects With regards to computer skills John is proficient with; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SPSS and has successfully supported the development of CDCS’s Monitoring and Evaluation tools as well as the implementation of project end reviews.
