Mr. Taban Richard George
Managing Director (MD)
Mr. Taban Richard George is the Managing Director and Cofounder of Career Development and Consultancy Services (CDCS). Taban holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA), Durban-South Africa and a Bachelor’s Degree of Social and Philosophical Studies of Makerere University, Kampala-Uganda. He brings in 19 years’ experience of working with UNICEF, GIZ, Malteser International, Caritas, SSUHA, SAFO in addition to conducting researches, M&E, surveys and institutional establishments. Mr. Taban is a self-propelling person in addition to being a very good team player; self-motivated and with great passion to achieve results. He always ensures that he accomplishes his tasks and communicates effectively with strong leadership skills as well as ready/willing to learn and mentor others. He fits well into multicultural settings both within organizations and with external stakeholders as well as the various communities of South Sudan and beyond. Taban leads in training people (especially women) on business management skills, institutional development & management including trauma healing in conflict and post-conflict situations. Currently Mr. Taban is a member of Board of Directors for Support for Peace Education and Development Programme (SPEDP) and the Executive Director of Saint Augustine Family Organization (SAFO)-a faith based organised based in Yei.
